Dear Brett,

Well we are finally settled in our new home and have managed to make it through our first holiday season here. The endless guests and activities have given us the ideal opportunity to “break in” that gorgeous conservatory of yours and –by unanimous decision- it has been voted “the best room in the house”. Now considering that we have over 6,000 sq. ft. in which to wander, including some pretty neat spots like a library, home theater and commercial kitchen, I think that is really saying something, don’t you?

John and I are in full agreement that the four Season’s room is indeed the best room in the house. We should know best as we use it every day. The conservatory has become the place in which we have morning coffee, read the paper, watch TV and just sit to contemplate the changing weather, sunsets, and gentle rain showers. It is definitely the most used space in our home and is also the most noticed and complimented by our visitors. I love hearing the “oohs and ahs” each time someone new sees the room.

When we chose to add this room to our new construction we dreamed of it becoming a beautiful transition to the outdoors, bringing in the vista of nature during all seasons without the hassles of “outside”: bugs, cold, heat, wet – you get the picture. The reality of our conservatory is that it has exceeded our grandest expectations! Yes, the temperature inside is consistent, no matter the weather outside and there are certainly no bugs to interrupt our relaxation, but the conservatory is MORE than that.

By banishing the interior in richly stained wood and natural stone, we have been able to create a dramatic living space that harmonizes perfectly with the other fine appointments in our home. Located right off the kitchen/dining area, the room coordinates beautifully with the granite counters, cherry flooring and oriental rugs, allowing for a seamless transition to the space that was not part of the original design of our house. We chose to leave the entry to the conservatory open to the adjacent space, thereby creating an unobstructed view from most of our first floor, including the front entry foyer. By adding the multi-level deck that you designed, we can extend our “good weather” living space by a substantial amount just by walking through the conservatory’s pretty French doors (the hot tub is out there too, by the way!) – so we’re obviously looking forward to long summer days.

I cannot thank you enough for this fantastic addition to our home and want to tell you again what a pleasure it has been working with you from concept to completion. Your willingness to hear our needs and wants, your attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, and obvious pride in your work made this an enjoyable and exciting project for us. We recommend you, the Four season’s product and the construction services of Jerry Beck and his team to anyone interested in having “the best room in the house” for their own.

We purchased our Four Season Sunroom from The Place in November of 1999. Because this was a new experience for us, we were very excited but also nervous. We had numerous questions from start to finish. Fortunately we had a wonderful and informative sales consultant Brett Albright, who was able to answer all these questions and give us some great ideas. Brett was very helpful and always available to talk with us and put our mind at ease throughout the project. He set us up with a very talented installer who could not have been more professional. It was apparent everybody at The Place had our best interest at heart and really wanted us to be happy with our new addition.

We have had our new room for approximately 4 years and truly love it. Now we can really appreciate all the seasons. It has brought the outside indoors. Our room is so peaceful and serene, we find ourselves always migrating there to relax. The only thing we regret is that we did not add it sooner. It is unbelievable how much one room can add so much elegance and beauty to a home.
We could not be happier with our Four Season Sunroom or the quality and professionalism of The Place. Therefore we will continue to highly recommend this store to all our family and friends.

Dear Ms. Reedy:

It is my pleasure to recommend THE PLACE for their exceptional work in building our conservatory which we added to our home last year.

From the point of sales, courtesy, workmanship, and follow-up when problems arose, your team was exceptional. Brett Albright, who sold us the idea, vision, and plans for the addition, was clear, honest, forthright and gave intelligent, accurate answers. Jerry Beck, the builder you selected for us, was simply one of the finest human being with whom I have ever worked in any capacity. Is it possible to say such words about a contractor?! When final costs were $500 to his favor (how would we have ever known), he returned the $500, explaining that he had overestimated on some of the brick work. He came on time, every time, and worked with us all the way.

Problems did arise due to the lay of our land and water drainage. These problems could not have been anticipated. But, let’s be honest, problems always occur when building a new home or addition. Your people made several trips out until the problem was solved. They arrived immediately, worked diligently, and asked for no extra monies. They fixed the problem and made additional changes to prevent future problems that might occur.

The conservatory is great 12 months a year. It is built to the standards of a luxury home, as it should be. We worried it might be too hot in the summer. It cools faster than the house. We worried it might be too cold on blustery winter days. Nonsense! We sit inside in our comfortable chairs, surrounded by palm trees, and watch the beauty of winter. We eat almost every meal in it, and every day that I can work at home..well, you know where to find me.
