Pad Requirements: Spas must
be placed on a solid, level surface. We recommend a 4” cement pad, a “spa pad” (portable spa surface purchased through us), or a deck built for 150 lbs. per square foot. Although spas come in a variety of sizes it is best to plan for the most popular 8’ x 8’ size.
You might also want to consider whether you would like a set
of steps to fit on the pad. Being able to walk around at least
two sides of the spa will make removing the cover easier.
Electrical requirements: 240 volt spas require a dedicated 50 amp GFCI service with four #6 AWG copper wires. These tubs are “hard wired”. We do not provide electrical hook up to your spa.
120 volt spas require a dedicated service. They are also “hard wired”.
Plumbing requirements: These portable spas require no plumbing. They are filled with
a garden hose. We recommend city water.
